Campus and Environment

The Kita-Aobayama campus in the physics department is located to several kilos to the west from the central part of Sendai city. Not only the faculty members in the Kita-Aobayama campus but also those from research institutes and laboratories in the Katahira campus and Mikamine campus are involved in the school programs.
The Kita-Aobayama campus abounds with rich green and nature, and is close to the Sendai castle. The subway station will be opened near the campus on December 2015.
